I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of
America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation,
under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Flag Day - June 14th
The National Flag represents the living country and is considered to be a living thing emblematic of the respect and pride we have for our nation. The National Emblem is a symbol of our great country, our heritage and our place in the world. We owe reverence and respect to our flag. It represents the highest ideals of individual liberty, justice and equality for all. The American Flag is our nations highest honor when draped over the casket of a deceased veteran and presented to the next of kin. Old Glory always shines brightly, it acquires its brilliance from American Veterans who have fought and died to preserve it. Our Flag is not a rag to be desecrated or blown up over federal buildings. Our Flag holds more hope for this world than any other national banner. Our American Flag is a precious possession. Display it proudly. Not only on June 14, Flag Day, but all year long.

Editorial: Desecrating a Flag under its Protection - A
Sick Act
No, not one. Not any person living in these United States of America under the protection of our flag and what it stands for,
absolutely no one should have a right to desecrate an American
flag. The supreme court should not rule that the American flag
can be desecrated as it is not the will of the people. The
supreme court should never make rulings that are against
the will of the people as we are a nation of the people by the
people and for the people. Desecrating an American flag is
certainly not freedom of speech. The reason the Murrah building
was bombed was because an American flag was flying over it. That
is not freedom of speech, ask the families of the victims. Our
American flag was pulled from the rubble tattered and torn and
hoisted back up over the ruins. Our flag still flies proudly in
Oklahoma. More than 35,000,000 Americans have carried our flag
into battle and over 1,000,000 Americans have died on
battlefields to preserve our flag and what it represents.
Desecrating our flag is a sick act for anyone who claims to be an
American. Anyone wishing to desecrate or burn our American flag
should go to Iran or Iraq to do so and not desecrate our flag
while living under it's protection. Anyone needing help on this
matter should memorize the Gettysburg Address and recite it out
loud in public or just memorize this part of it.

birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the
people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
