1080 - Consuelo Mexia, age 95, passed away Wednesday September 1, 2004 in Noble, OK. She was born on October 6, 1909  in Santo Domingo, Dom. Republic. Her late husband Estabano served in the US Navy for 37 years spanning three wars, WW-One, WW-II, and Korea. Service was held at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel Moore Oklahoma on Friday September 3, 2004. 1081 - Bobby Glenn Harris was Killed-in-Action March 17, 1971 in Cambodia during the Vietnam War. He was born on February 27, 1952 in McKinney Texas. His remains were finally discovered and brought back to Oklahoma for burial with full military honors at Fort Gibson National Cemetery on Friday September 3, 2004. Military honors by the US Army Honor Guard of Fort Sill Oklahoma assisted by American Volunteer Reserve - Chaplain LTC Tom Hunt - CSM David Laukat. Several veteran organizations also participated. Officiating service was Rev. Bruce Sanders of North Fork Baptist Church, Captain Jose R. Salcido of Chaplain Corps US Army. Services were under the direction of Hampton Mortuary Checotah Oklahoma.
