Veterans of America Honor Guard has given 1070 military honor burial ceremonies since 1991 and Chaplain Boyd Fallwell has officiated the funeral serive of many of these. Never have we charged a fee for a service and never will. We jump and run two or three times a week rendering military honors in the state of Oklahoma and surrounding states. We are funded by contributions and our own expense with a few sponsors that help out at times.

25 million American Veterans are alive today and 4 million of those are WW-II veterans. 16 million did serve in WW-II so 25% are alive today. An entire generation is passing right before our eyes, right now over 1800 veterans are dying each day, mostly WW-II veterans as they are up in the years. The number is expected to peak in 2007 which may very well be 3000 veterans dying each day as then they will all be 80 years old and older, we live in a big country. January 1, 2000 congress passed a law making it mandatory for the Dept. of Defense to send out an honor guard if the family requests it. They only send out two personel to fold the flag and sound taps on a boom box. Well it is a start but not near enough to give our departed America Heroes the honor and respect they so well deserve. The DOD cannot even keep up with the numbers as our military is needed fighting the war on terroism and they are becoming short handed, now they are calling up the inactive reserve IRR. (Individual Ready Reserve)

Veterans of America Honor Guard and our affiliate the American Voluteer Reserve is standing in the gap rendering military honors with quality. Even so we cannot keep up as too many veterans are dying but we jump and run when called upon. Many times we have to turn down veterans families as we already have services scheduled. It hurts us and hurts the family but we cannot render all of them honors. We need financial help so we can do so. See the Donate section on the red button bar at the top of this page and give from your heart. Freedom is never free. The freedom we now enjoy was paid for by our America Heroes. They deserve to be honored. They will not be forgotton.
